Batman vs Superman Arctic Zone Batman

BvS Arctic Zone Batman

After this, I only have two Mattel BvS Batman figures left to collect: The one with the Lex Luthor 3 pack, and the one that came with the Batcave (RIP).

This is a straight up repaint of Blast Attack (Knightmare) Batman with a white grapple gun, and two ice blades, repainted from the kryptonite gloves Batman. They've been reviewed here before. Just look them up. I do love the little dirt effect going on at the bottom of the trenchcoat. I gotta be honest though, this Batman just looks like he's ready for labwork, and less ready for war. Perhaps he found the Fortress of Solitude?

It's a cool looking figure, but like the rest of the line he's just a mix and match. It's almost like Mattel is taking cues from Kenner! Now give us cloth capes that are removable, and we're good!

Things did get icy in BvS, so I guess this figure is fitting.

There's a nice comparison shot. Like I said before, Mattel is doing the whole Kenner thing with JL and these figures, mixing and matching existing parts to create new figures. Except Kenner was more original. I still need the Batman figure that comes with the BvS Batcave that never showed up in my area. They've repainted the cave and given it a new figure! Now I need both. Ugh. Anyways, this figure was super hard to find for me. I ONLY found it yesterday at a Fred Meyers, as some sort of relic from last year. I'm excited, but once I review it, I'm no longer excited. Cool line, but they could have done better. Then again, I still haven't gotten to the Batcave. If anyone who reads these is selling theirs complete for cheap, hit me up.
