Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze

I always wondered why they didn't release the screen accurate figure on wave one. It was kind of strange. Feels to me like this was an update and that the first wave was released hurriedly several months before the movie's release. I lived in another country at the time, and needless to say, we only got wave 1 and I got this figure in recent years. Still, they MADE an accurate screen version so props to them for that.

This is going to be a disappointingly short pictured review because there really isn't a whole lot of angles to this figure. This is actually a good thing because he doesn't come with a ton of accessories except for his trademark ice blaster, which features an unusually long missile...more on that later. The figure is highly detailed and it kind of looks like Arnold. The head lacks pupils which is actually good since his eyes are super blue. Later on they released a two-pack with one featuring a chrome deco...I prefer that figure over this one. But really, where ELSE could you have taken this figure anyways? From this mold they released several re-tools/variants which are movie scene specific, so that's nice.

See how long that missile is? He looks a lot better without it. Anyways, this figure is not that easy to find so good luck tracking it down. All I know is that tonight is going to be a cold night in Gotham...
