A mutant bird-like human with a mysterious past, the Penguin never ceases to plunder Gotham City of its most precious possessions. His powerful hatred of Batman and Robin is as encompassing as his inconceivable lust for riches. His obsession to neutralize the Dark Knight will never cease until Batman is no longer. The Penguin has powers to use Gotham City's vast bird population to aid him in his sinister plans. Though he doesn't necessarily appear dangerous, his looks are deceiving: at his core is the heartless void of one of Gotham City's most ruthless villains!
This is one of the coolest yet strangest conceptions in the line. The Penguin has always been one of my favorite bad guys, and this dude tops Danny Devito's Penguin in scary-ness.
First off let me tell you that this is an excellent sculpt. The coat is MADE out of birds as is the umbrella, he's got sharp teeth and his fingers are fused and clawed. This feathered fiend however lacks articulated legs, which is a shame, but with a pudgy figure like that, I doubt he's trying to run anywhere. You can just picture Hitchcock's "Birds" swarming Batman and coming alive from his coat. Very dark stuff indeed!
You can detach the top part of the umbrella and put it on that hole in his back, which in turn reveals...
A sword made out of bird bones! He can spin the sword by moving rotating his wrist via a little stick that sticks out of his elbow.
This figure is very cool, and I highly recommend it.
